The snow left more than 60 people stranded, including seven inn employees, according to multiple reports. “Bless our lovely pioneering customers who came along for the NOASIS gig, which was great … we always find a bed somewhere somehow when snowed in,” the inn shared, including the hashtag #Snowasis. The inn calls itself the United Kingdom's "highest pub" because it is more than 1,700 feet above sea level. The inn shared images on Facebook of its front door surrounded by snow and patrons appearing to roll with it, sleeping huddled together. Although the band, pub employees and patrons knew snow was in the forecast, they didn’t know the weather would shut down roads and bring down power lines. The tribute band, Noasis, was scheduled to perform on Friday night at the Tan Hill Inn in Richmond, England, more than 200 miles northwest of London.
